Synopsis

All-Sports Special Issue The Replacement - A light dropped from the sky in the midst of the Whizzers Baseball Team's crucial game and whisked away their pitcher. In his place was a strange humanoid! And man... could that alien play baseball! RAH! - Rah had kept his promise to awaken when the world needed a champion. Once the mummy led Cloverton to victory in football, securing the pigskin as a trophy. Now he rises again to play pro ball all wrapped up in a love affair! Great Black Cheese - Ever hear of Emmantaler Jackson? You would have recognized the name if Jackson had taken the one chance he had for immortality and fought the  champ. But you only get one chance in life. Right? Elixer -Rocketing along the ice with swinging sticks, hockey wasn't a sport for any man past his prime. And Ed Binder was an old man. Nevertheless, to defend his goal one more time, Ed chose to drink the magic and dangerous Elixir! Running Wild - Though Walt and Lucien were twins, Walt was athletic while Lucien was confirmed to a wheelchair. As twins they were closer than most brothers, yet the ties which bound them were Lucien's will and Walt's hate! Cold Blooded Murder - Billy was a dye-in-the-wool hockey fan, a player on a small fry team as well as a TV rooter. Thus, when his turn came to play, he emulated his hero. The result was a tragic blow to Billy's soul!
